In 2014 the Ceramic Sea-Dweller 4000 was finally released after a long period of having no 'Classic' Sea-Dweller in the Rolex divers range, though in 2017 this model was discontinued with the release of the Sea-Dweller 'Red Writing' 50th Anniversary which with its larger case and controversial Cyclops lens has left fans and collectors alike yearning for that original look that we have all grown to love.
The 116600 with it’s classic look and size but modernized Ceramic bezel is in our opinion currently the last of the desirable Sea-Dwellers to be produced and with one of the shortest production runs in Rolex history is becoming ever more sought after.
