1019
The Milgauss was introduced in the mid 1950s as a watch for Scientists and by 1960 had taken on a more simplified and cleaner aesthetic as the 1019 model iteration.
Made for CERN the European organisation for nuclear research, the Milgauss could withstand magnetism typically found in these environments up to 1000 gauss.

Brushed silver dial with black inlay baton markers, lume tipped matching the hands.
Rolex would allow original owners to specify with or without lume as an option on this model.
The tritium has taken on a nice even cream patina on both the dial and hands.
