A classic and iconic Rolex wristwatch featuring a rare Grey Ghost dial, named due to the white printing on grey.
Whilst still rare the Grey Ghost dials are more commonly associated with older vintage Datejust models from the 1960s, 70s and 80s. It is unusual to find a later example Datejust such as this reference 16234 with the Grey Ghost ‘Swiss Made’ dial and luminous plots. The watch dial also features interesting trefoil profile baton markers.

The last of a neo-vintage era of the Datejust that had the benefit of sapphire crystal and quick-set functions whilst retaining some of the individuality of earlier vintage models.
