A stunning Sea-Dweller 1665 from 1983 and the last year of production for this reference featuring a rare Transitional case back from the last batch of 1665 produced. The engraving of the back is very similar to the layout of the later 16660 that would follow this reference but it differs by keeping the domed convex profile. Whilst the 1665 reference number is still on the inside we also see the milled removal of the word ‘Patented’ due to the Brevet (Patent) running out by 1983.

The Great White takes its name from the dial printing becoming all White after the Double Red writing Sea-Dweller ceased production in the mid 1970s.
