A classic retro vintage Omega, the Cosmic 2000 series saw the introduction of a system of large gaskets to ensure a higher 60m water resistance than the dressier Seamasters of the time. As well as a step towards a more retro case design that featured a module inner section that helps to keep dirt and moisture from the movement.
