The CASD comes in many forms as recently highlighted in the book Chronomaster Only.
First released in 1961 under brands Croton and Nivada Grenchen, initially with ‘Chronograph’ instead of ‘Chronomaster’ on the dial, later generations would see variations in the dial branding, hands and movement calibre.
We present here a 2nd generation Nivada Grenchen with the Chronomaster wording, Tritium dial, Valjoux 92 movement and infamous Broad Arrow hands…

The bezel is in particularly good condition with no visible loss to the Black.

Becoming increasingly sought after the Chronomaster is a very fairly priced quality precision chronograph from the 1960s when compared with the Speedmasters and Autavias of the same era.
