The CASD comes in many forms as recently highlighted in the book Chronomaster Only.
First released in 1961 under brands Croton and Nivada Grenchen, initially with ‘Chronograph’ instead of ‘Chronomaster’ on the dial, later generations would see variations in the dial branding, hands and movement calibre.
We present here a 1st generation Croton Nivada Grenchen with the early Chronograph wording, Radium dial, Venus 210 movement and infamous Broad Arrow hands…

Becoming increasingly sought after the Chronomaster is a very fairly priced quality precision chronograph from the 1960s when compared with the Speedmasters and Autavias of the same era.
This early example likened to being the Ref - 2915 (Speedmaster) of Chronomasters.
