An extremely Rare and important example of the earliest vintage Navitimer.
Released in 1954 the Navitimer was developed by Breitling as the ultimate pilots tool watch for the AOPA (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association) featuring the now iconic slide rule calculator.
This first year of production used the now coveted Valjoux 72 movement and also did not yet feature the reference 806 (later appearing after 1955).
The holy grail of Navitimers and thought to have only been originally produced in around 1200 pieces.

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a very special piece of watchmaking history.
How many of the original Valjoux Pre 806 Navitimers have survived is unknown but there are for certain only limited numbers still out there.
